At Tropical Forest, every garment is thoughtfully handcrafted and many of our pieces are created on a made-to-order basis. By placing an order with us, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.
Made-to-Order & Custom Pieces
As our garments are individually handcrafted and often tailored to the selected size or specifications, all made-to-order, customized, and altered pieces are non-returnable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable.
Once an order is placed, cancellations or changes may not always be possible once production has begun. While we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate requests, we cannot guarantee modifications and additional charges may apply.
Handcrafted Nature of Products
Our garments feature intricate hand embroidery, chikankari work, embellishments, and delicate fabrics such as mul, chanderi, georgette, chiffon, and similar textiles. Minor irregularities, slight variations, loose threads, or natural wear characteristics are part of handcrafted luxury products and should not be considered defects.
Delicate embellishments and fine fabrics require careful handling and may be sensitive to pulls, friction, perfumes, moisture, and improper storage.
Quality Assurance
Every order undergoes a strict quality inspection before dispatch to ensure it meets our standards.
Returns for Wrong Item or Genuine Manufacturing Defect
Returns or replacements are only considered in the following cases:
Incorrect item received
Genuine manufacturing defect
Product damaged in transit (reported immediately)
You must notify us within 24 hours of delivery with clear photographs and order details.
Once reviewed, Tropical Forest will determine the appropriate resolution, which may include:
Repair
Replacement
Store Credit
Refund (where applicable)
The final decision will depend on product condition and issue verification.
Size & Fit Assistance
Please refer carefully to our size guide before ordering. For minor fitting adjustments, many garments include margins where possible and can be altered locally.
If alteration assistance is required from us, we may offer support subject to feasibility, along with applicable shipping and tailoring charges.
Delivery Timelines
Made-to-order pieces require artisanal production time. Estimated delivery timelines are shared at the time of purchase. While we strive to meet timelines, slight delays may occur due to the handcrafted nature of our process.
Product Care
To preserve your garment:
Dry clean only through a reputed cleaner
Store separately in a garment cover
Avoid contact with perfumes, moisture, sprays, and rough surfaces
Handle embroidery and embellishments delicately
